As I’m sure you have noticed by now, recently I have been writing much less frequently than I normally do. Unfortunately, I must place the blog on the back burner for the next couple of weeks, as we are at the end of our academic year, and I have four, yes, four, final projects on my plate right now. Thus, I am forced to take a semi-hiatus from writing until at least some of them get finished. I will still try my hardest to keep up the pace of one post each week, though it is highly possible that I might not be able to in a given week.
This is not a decision I take lightly; the lack of time to write something worthy of appearing on the blog has left a hole in my soul. As corny as that sounds, I truly enjoy writing about politics and current events, and I am not satisfied with writing for the sake of writing; I cannot bear to just throw something onto the blog for the sake of maintaining a consistent publishing schedule. As my loyal readers, you probably get that feeling without me telling you this; I instead prefer to aim for a frequency of writing. Unfortunately, while I view this with the seriousness of a real job, the fact that I currently am not selling ad space on the blog to earn a little extra money and the nature of being a college student mean that I must prioritize my schoolwork over everything else at the moment.
At the beginning of the year, you may recall that I was trying to bring on a second writer to help pick up the slack when I ran into workload overload like this. However, it has not lived up to my expectations; though I am still talking with the second writer, he has yet to write anything for it. I am still asking him to try to write something, but we are all relatively in the same boat regarding the amount of work we have. I will try my hardest to get something up, but I thank you for your understanding during these few weeks. Hopefully, things should be back to normal soon, though it may be the end of the month before I am able to write as much as I would like.

Business before pleasure (i. e.: school work before blogs). Hang in there.
all the best! hope everything goes smooth for you.
Well, I made it through…everything's back to normal (or as close as it can be until I can bring myself back to 2 posts a week!)
